Born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, I am one of six kids with two sisters and three brothers. I played baseball, hockey, and soccer until high school before moving to Faribault, Minnesota, to attend a boarding school for four years. My senior year, I was Student Body President, represented Team USA U18 Hockey, and won a National Championship for my high school hockey team.
I spent my undergrad at Michigan State University (2015), earning a degree in Advertising and Marketing while playing hockey. I was a 4-time All-Big Ten Academic award winner and was voted "Most Improved Player" my sophomore year. While attending MSU, I participated heavily in the community with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Toys for Tots.
Since college, I have resided in the Kalamazoo area for the previous six years. I have played hockey for the ECHL team, Kalamazoo Wings, and was lucky enough to spend time living and playing hockey in Kazakhstan (2017) and Switzerland (2018). In 2019, while playing for Kalamazoo, I was voted the "Most Valuable Player" and "Fan Favorite."
